The Best Things to Do at Lake of the Ozarks Now
We sit in the middle of everything. Here are the best things to do at Lake of the Ozarks within 1, 5 and 10 miles of your campsite, and how much of it you can reach straight from our dock.
Dinner Is A Three Minute Walk
Almost nothing at the Lake of the Ozarks is walkable. We are the exception. Park the truck on Friday and do not touch the keys again until Sunday — restaurants, pool bars and a full resort sit right at our doorstep, and the ones on the water are an even shorter ride from our dock.

Cajun kitchen, waterfront patio and live music all season, right beside the park. The closest table to your campsite.
Lakefront dining, a swim-up bar and one of the liveliest docks on the main channel — walk over, or idle in by boat.
The Jolly Mon indoor water park, resort restaurants and pool bars, minutes from your site — a rainy day plan built in.
Sand swim beaches, the dock, the sunset gazebo and the only public boat ramp with parking on the main channel — open 24/7.
The Best Of Osage Beach
Five minutes up the road puts you in the middle of Osage Beach — state park beaches and trails, outlet shopping, family fun parks and a distillery for the grown-ups.

Missouri’s largest state park: Grand Glaize swim beach, hiking and biking trails, and quiet coves to explore by kayak.
Dozens of name-brand outlet stores for the afternoon the lake gets rained out — or the crew wants some retail therapy.
Indoor rides and arcade next to go-karts, bumper boats and mini golf. Kid energy, professionally absorbed.
Small-batch moonshine, bourbon and craft beer with tastings — a short, responsible hop from camp.
Bagnell Dam Strip & Beyond
Cross the Grand Glaize bridge and the lake’s classics open up — the historic Strip, dam overlooks, white-tablecloth sunsets and championship golf.

The original 1930s lakefront strip — souvenir shops, arcades, ice cream and classic lake nostalgia by the dam.
A 1930s pine lodge above Bagnell Dam with a free museum on how the lake was built, and one of its best overlooks.
Steak, seafood and a main channel sunset from the dining room — the lake’s go-to for a dressed-up dinner.
27 Arnold Palmer designed holes along the Osage River. Tee time in the morning, dock time by afternoon.
Or Skip The Roads Entirely
Here is the part other campgrounds cannot offer: we are on the main channel, with our own dock and a 24/7 boat ramp. Waterfront restaurants, party coves and the whole heart of the lake are a boat ride from your campsite — no trailer queue, no no-wake crawl out of a back cove.
Launch in the morning, tie up for lunch on the water, and be back at your fire ring for sunset.
