The annual Memorial Day Weekend fireworks tradition will look a little different this year at Lake of the Ozarks. Many of the normal fireworks locations have announced they won’t be holding shows. But there are still a couple of shows you can catch by water and land.
Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks
Celebration Cruise/Bagnell Dam Strip
WHERE: 0 Mile Marker // Bagnell Dam
WHEN: Sunday, May 25, 8 p.m.
Celebration Cruise on the Bagnell Dam will be hosting a fireworks cruise at 8:00pm on Sunday, May 25. This cruise will take guests on the water to watch the sunset, then return to the docks to watch the fireworks show!

Bear Bottom Resort
WHERE: 38 Mile Marker // 23 Bear Bottom Dr, Sunrise Beach, MO 65079
WHEN: Saturday, May 24, around dusk, but arrive early!
Bear Bottom Resort will be hosting a firework show on Saturday May 24th, at dark. Bear Bottom Said “these fireworks are going to be fantastic.” They will also be hosting a band KC Groove Therapy before the firework show, and the music will resume playing after the fireworks conclude.
Bear Bottom Resort would like to let everyone know to come early to get your seat, and they have a new delicious drink and food menu.
The fireworks will be visible from land and water.
Who’s NOT Having Fireworks
We confirmed with the following venues that — while they normally have fireworks for Memorial Day — they will NOT be having fireworks this year for Memorial Day Weekend:
-Encounter Cove
-Inn at Grand Glaize
-Lodge of Four Seasons
-Margaritaville Lake Resort
-Point Randall Resort (but will have a July 4th fireworks show)
